Internet Marketing Tools

Internet Marketing Tools

Hello there! Thank you for visiting The Internet Marketing Tools Page. Just as every Carpenter needs their toolbox to build structures, and every Auto Mechanic needs their
toolbox for an auto repair, every internet marketer needs tools to help build their online marketing business.

The following list is by no means exhaustive but it should provide you with a good foundation on which to start and build your own Internet Marketing business.

Domain Name...

The very first thing at the top of your list is your domain name. Yes your domain name is an internet marketing tool. The right domain name for your business will mean
you won’t have to fight as hard to land on page one in Google Search.

For instance, say you’re in the dog niche and even further you’re in a micro dog niche. Let’s say “flea collars for dogs”. Do a google search as highlighted in the image, and just below it, also highlighted, you will see that over 39 MILLION results have appeared from that keyword phrase search in just under a second! And you would be out front!

I get most of my domain names from Namecheap. I do this because they
have a word in their name that I’m fond of…CHEAP (or inexpensive, if you prefer).

Web Hosting

Another tool in the Internet Marketing Toolbox is hosting. On which lot do you want to build your dream home? There are plenty of web hosting companies for the internet marketer to choose from. There’s GoDaddy, Namecheap and a lot more. I advise you to do your research and find what suits you best.

The company I choose for hosting is Bluehost. In addition to hosting, which include several plans to choose from, they have TOP NOTCH 24/7 customer service and support. They also have an added feature called blue sky support. WordPress experts that will help you with building your dream home.

To WordPress Or Not To WordPress?

You’ll need content management which will enable you to create a site you can call home. There are many out there in the internet marketing sphere including Squarespace, Wix.com, and others. I use WordPress. They have an incredible amount of free themes (that have “The Wow Factor”) to choose from. You can check them out at WordPress.org.

Get Plugged In!

Plug-Ins are website add-ons that enable certain functions for your website. If you want to make some toast at home you get a toaster and plug it in. If you want a lamp for your living room, you get one and plug it in. Same principle.

Your hosting company will probably have plug-ins that are built into your site dashboard as well. You can search for any plug-in and upload it to your site. GOOD NEWS!!! Most are free!!

They have plug-ins for SEO, keywords, Google Analytics, and so much more. WordPress has two default plug-ins, Akismet (spam detector) and Hello Dolly. Its function is to keep you entertained whilst working on your site.

The Written Word

If you intend on doing any type of writing, you’ll want to make sure your content is clear, understandable, and concise. I recommend Grammarly proof reading services. It’s free and easy to use. Two of my favorite words; free and easy.

Go to Grammarly.com and simply copy your content and paste it on a new document page. It will show you punctuation errors, spelling errors, phrase suggestions and so much more. They have an upgrade package that will give you advanced fixes although the free version should be sufficient.

Images and Graphics

I love using images and graphics as an Internet Marketing tool. Using the right images and graphics can help convey your message, they’ll help your page flow smoothly, and they add panache and polish to your site. Not only that, they’re fun to create.

The Graphics Creator by Laughingbird Software is an incredibly easy tool to help you create your images and graphics. They have easy to follow videos to help you get started. They have access to image and elements websites that you can use for free. You’ll be a pro in no time.

E-Mail

Probably the most important thing in your Internet Marketing Toolbox is your list. Start building your E-Mail list and cultivating relationships with those on your list. There are many e-mail platforms out there to choose from. Do your due diligence and choose what’s right for you.

Last but not least I’d like to say a sincere thank you for stopping by and reading this. As I stated earlier, this Internet Marketing Tool List is in no way exhaustive, but it will help you in laying a foundation on which to build your online marketing business. I will be adding an additional Internet Marketing Tools page in the days ahead.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out and ask.

God bless you and stay groovy!
